Therapy for teens and families in San Francisco
Who I work WIth
I work with teens who are navigating social dynamics — friendship struggles, peer pressure, feeling left out or excluded, social anxiety, shifting group dynamics, and the complexities of belonging.
I work with teens because I genuinely love it. There is something special about witnessing the world through their eyes and offering a safe, non-judgmental space where they can explore the challenges of growing up.
Adolescence comes with unique challenges: body changes, academic pressures, and the work of figuring out who you are. The good news is teens are inherently resilient, and with the right support we can find ways to help them thrive.
Having worked with young people in many different roles, I’ve developed a natural way of connecting with them. I’m curious about who they are and excited to get to know them. My approach moves at your teen’s pace and is rooted in psychodynamic training, with a strong focus on attachment and the therapeutic relationship. Depending on your teen and families needs I also often incorporate CBT and DBT skills, mindfulness techniques and problem solving skills.
I believe change goes further when parents are involved whenever possible, so I welcome collaboration and incorporate parent sessions throughout if appropriate. Together we can improve communication, strengthen connection at home, and work through challenges as they arise
